For the RAM project, Amsterdam Vattenfall district heating, we have again supplied a top-class folding door. 5900 x 8155 mm with 12mm LSG glazing!!!
Despite the stately height and heavy weight, we were able to use our slim (doubled) profiles. It should also be emphasized that the powerful central drive is located on the inside and opens the door outwards. The gate is used for the annual maintenance of a machine. Background: Vattenfall is working on a fossil-free district heating supply in Amsterdam. A project was launched together with AEB Amsterdam to optimize and connect the district heating networks in Amsterdam. This should accelerate the energy transition towards heat generation without natural gas using district heating. The district heating project is part of a tentative EUR 400 million joint investment agenda up to 2022 for district heating in Amsterdam.
