The originally existing fire brigade equipment houses in the districts of Harsberg and Untersteinbach no longer met today’s requirements, so that the municipal council decided to build a new fire brigade equipment house for both districts in Renzen.
The new building is planned as a compact cubic structure, taking into account the topography of the site, and is divided into two areas. The vehicle hall with the workshop and storage areas at the rear of the hall was designed on one floor and equipped with three vehicle boxes.
The 3,600 mm x 4,000 mm large, inward-opening folding doors were given an anthracite-grey, matt paint finish and were mounted behind the reveal. The four-leaf gate system with the opening scheme 2+2 was designed with glazing without glazing bars and blends harmoniously into the overall appearance of the modern fire station.
ALPGATE doors meet the requirements of DIN 14092 for fire stations. Find out more about the ALPGATE fire brigade gates here: https://www.alpgate.com/torloesungen/feuerwehrtore
